About the Run

9th edition of Go Heritage Run Hampi at a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A 5K, 10K and 21K weaving past the temples, boulders and ruins of the Vijayanagara empire. All three distances are untimed fun runs. Flag-off is at first light; runners are back and showered by about 9-10 AM, done before the sun gets serious. Republic Day long-weekend itinerary: 24 Jan run, 25 Jan explore, 26 Jan Republic Day. Terrain: mostly tarmac with some packed mud and stone stretches; 21K is rolling. Start and finish at Gayathri Peeta Vedike, opposite Hampi traffic police station. Under-7s run free with a registered adult. Bib pickup: Sat 23 Jan 2027, Hotel Malligi Hospet, 9 AM-6 PM. Prices rise as slots fill. Free event photos published after the run.
