Accounts and Profiles
RunRadar can be used fully without an account. If you choose to create one (Google sign-in or an email sign-in link), we store: your email address, and the profile details you provide (display name, home city). We use these only to sign you in and run your account. Sign-in is provided by Supabase (our database and authentication provider) and, if you choose it, Google.
Saved Races
If you save races while signed in, your saved races are stored against your account so they sync across your devices. While signed out, saves are stored only in your browser.
Email alerts
If you subscribe to deadline reminders or city digests, we store your email address solely to deliver the requested notifications. You can unsubscribe at any time via the one-click unsubscribe link in every email, or manage your alerts in your account settings. We do not sell or share your email address with race organizers or third parties.
Your Race History
If you add past races to your profile (race name, date, distance, finish time, and an optional certificate link), that information is stored against your account and is visible only to you. We do not publish it or share it.
Deleting Your Data
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account permanently deletes your profile, saved races and race history.
Who Processes Data For Us
We use Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (website hosting) and Resend (email). If you sign in with Google, Google processes that sign-in. We never sell personal data.
What you send us
If you submit an event, club, meetup or playlist, we store the details you provide, including a contact name and email/phone where the form asks for them. Contact details marked private on the form are used only to verify the submission and are never shown publicly. If you write to us, we keep that correspondence to respond to you.
What stays on your device
Saved races, your chosen city and display preferences are stored in your browser's local storage, on your device — not on our servers — and you can erase them any time by clearing site data. If you use the “Use my location” option, your coordinates are processed inside your browser only, to pick the nearest listed city; they are not sent to or stored on our servers.
Technical data
Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) in server logs, used to keep the site secure and working. Support payments (Buy Me a Coffee / UPI) are completed entirely on those third-party services; we never see or store your card or bank details.
Your rights
You may ask us what personal data we hold about you, and ask for its correction or deletion, by writing to the contact email below. We respond within a reasonable time, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
